Just a little note sent your way
In hopes you are feeling better today.
Plenty of rest will have you feeling much better
And I hope to help with this letter.

When you are ill and feeling bad
It is easy to get blue and sad.
I hope that is not the case with you
For I love you very much 'tis true.

Friends dropping by
With a casserole or a pie
Help to lift your spirit when ill
And certainly helps your stomach to fill.

More than that, to know that friends care
And show their concerns
Makes you know you are the most blessed any where
And have much love for which your heart yearns.

So, just know that I love you
And hope you're feeling well
As I send this note to tell
You my love is true.
